In this time of economic distress, it is advisable to avoid unnecessary fines, ranging from littering the streets to the illegal parking fines. This will come as common sense for to most people, but time and time again still there are many people react like spoilt children whenever they were caught with clamp for being stupid and parking in places they should not have, railing at the poor traffic warden who are simply being professional about what they are paid to do.
This respect stems from their continuing enthusiasm for the job. It takes a really strong people to keep working at something when it seems that the entire world hates you for it. Sometimes some of the calmest and best executed examples of wit I have ever seen comes from these people, as they are smoothly shrug off insult after insult before hammering home the underlying truth that the driver was in the wrong. The fact that the driver are also wrong probably also one of the reasons I respect the traffic warden for, because if a person think that the rest of the world will bend to make life uncomfortable for them, it is good to see an enforcer of the rules propose them back to the reality. We are all glad to see it happen to other people but even after witnessing the consequences some of us still risk parking where we please with the futile hope that the hazard warning light will deter traffics.
After looking to it a little, on privately owned car park traffic warden are hired and called out to the car park, it means that their job is similar to that of a plumber and yet plumbers are never demonised for doing a good job, very opposite in facts. Car parking also do a fantastic job keeping the streets clear by keeping cars out from the road, so I think it is about time that we stop viewing the traffic wardens and wheel clamp with scorn, and only learn how to park out cars.
